G B Srithar

G B Srithar is the Regional Director, India, Middle East & South Asia (IMESA) at the Singapore Tourism Board (STB) since August 2016. It is a return to India for Srithar as he had previously been posted to STB Mumbai office as Area Director, South Asia from April 2010 to December 2013.

Srithar is responsible for overseeing the STB’s Leisure and BTMICE travel promotions, marketing and developmental efforts in the IMESA region. He works with travel and non-travel partners in the region to drive visitor traffic to Singapore for Leisure, MICE and Cruise.

In his capacity as Regional Director, he has led some major, innovative marketing projects in India. These include Bollywood movie projects, marketing tie-ups with leading brands like Ola, Paytm, Book My Show and Zomato and other creative consumer outreach projects.
